These files contain calculated sunspot torsional rotation profiles for 49 active regions measured from data acquired by the HMI instrument on NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory. Other data produced as part of the calculations (such as uncertainties, umbral areas, sunspot position, etc.) are also included with the profiles. These test regions were used as testing and development data for the automatic sunspot tracking method, SSTrack, of Proverbs and Brown. The data is provided as FITS files (one for each active region), and can easily be read into standard analysis packages used within solar physics. Directions for doing this with SSWIDL and Scientific Python are provided by Brown and Walker.
